Return to Ringing

On Easter Sunday the Cathedral bells could be heard across the city once again. After months of silence, five of our ringers climbed the stairs up the cathedral tower, out of practice and out of breath by the time we reached the ringing chamber door. Socially distanced we took hold of our ropes; we rang bells numbered 1, 3, 6, 8 & 10.
